About KARIS
KARIS leverages its resources by enabling volunteers and training and supporting leaders. KARIS endeavors to stay close to the projects it funds through direct participation where practical, and through follow-up and communication in all cases. We also provide opportunities for direct involvement by people who want to give their time to helping the needy. We endeavor search out, encourage and support people who are making an impact in graciously giving kindness, relief and help to the poor. We also delight in encouraging others to share with us in this work by financial support or personal volunteer participation and hopefully both. Our projects are small and large, international and local, but always very meaningful to those helped.
KARIS takes accountability seriously. KARIS maintains personal relationships around the world to assure that your gifts are effective. We like to know who we are helping; exactly where the support went; how it was used; and what it accomplished.
Below is our Annual Report to those that have helped out this past year.
Opportunities to extend Kindness And Relief In Society (KARIS) abound but are not always clearly apparent to all of us.
KARIS has identified, supported and enabled scores of Impact providers of relief for the past decade. By giving to KARIS, you can be sure where your money went and what it accomplished.
KARIS can provide that assurance because:
KARIS carefully selects Impact projects that multiply the impact of your dollars by providing help for those who help others.
KARIS' representatives personally oversee the use of every gift dollar and are personally familiar with each person or effort it supports.
KARIS' all volunteer staff ensures you that only the barest minimum of your gift dollar is consumed in administrative costs.
